It's summer fruit season at the GVFB! If only you could smell how amazing these fruits were in our warehouse! We purchased 13,000 lbs of delicious fresh peaches and cherries from Rai Produce, a local farm in Osoyoos. #vancouver
We're excited to finally open the doors of our newest #Vancouver location: The Vancouver CAP Market! Our CAP Market, located near the Main Street-Science World Skytrain station, will serve as a pick-up location exclusively for the 100+ Community Agency Partners that we support.
And we are working to ensure vulnerable residents have access to heat supports. A shout out and ๐ to Greater Vancouver Food Bank for stepping up and donating bottled water to the city to support residents in the DTES.

Our kitchen equipment grant program aims to help our CAPs lower their food program costs by providing them with much-needed kitchen tools. Directions Youth Services recently received a bread slicer that has helped them make more sandwiches for their clients and reduce food waste! #Vancity
When our amazing donors make financial support this is what Greater Vancouver Food Bank can do! Each client received over 30lbs of awesome food yesterday - Thank you monthly donors!
We want to give a huge #thankyou to the PNE Fair / Playland for working with us during #PNEWinterLights and everyone who supported our mission to provide healthy food to those in need! Their Virtual Food Drive, on-site donations, and emoji campaign raised a total of $68,948.54 for us!
