Yesterday we gave 5,000 lbs of food and supplies to Camp Hope and Hope Food Bank.

It's summer fruit season at the GVFB! If only you could smell how amazing these fruits were in our warehouse! We purchased 13,000 lbs of delicious fresh peaches and cherries from Rai Produce, a local farm in Osoyoos. #vancouver

We're excited to finally open the doors of our newest #Vancouver location: The Vancouver CAP Market! Our CAP Market, located near the Main Street-Science World Skytrain station, will serve as a pick-up location exclusively for the 100+ Community Agency Partners that we support.

We've successfully delivered over 2,600 grocery orders to Burnaby seniors since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

To make this happen, our staff have been shopping twice a week at either Safeway, Save On Foods, or SuperValu.

Our kitchen equipment grant program aims to help our CAPs lower their food program costs by providing them with much-needed kitchen tools. Directions Youth Services recently received a bread slicer that has helped them make more sandwiches for their clients and reduce food waste! #Vancity
