I’m sorry to hear that too Stavros. Worked with Denys when I was Chairman of the Board at the BRDC, owners of Silverstone, and he has to take some credit for the F1 British GP and many other key races we enjoy today. As you say, smart guy.

Formula One world championship points must be hard won and treasured. Valued. Not some kind of lucky dip where everyone wins a prize.

Teams with the funds and resource will have been courting Adrian Newey for a while. If and when he becomes available it’s a double whammy for any team, they’ll have access to his experience and genius, and it stops another team having him.

Decent gridwalk in Monaco. Have never watched one back in 27 years but really enjoyed that. Thank you to all my SkyF1 mates who help me, and interviewees. I love F1 more than ever, even if yesterday was a bit too steady. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.

Thanks Ed. Long time since we worked together in F1. Happy days and pleased that Grand Prix Trust got so many F1 folk back together for our Reunion lunch. Love hearing the banter and tall stories from the gang.

It is me who should be apologising to Sir Brian May, not him to me for the gridwalk on Sunday at Silverstone. I didn’t address him as Sir Brian, and I shouldn’t have approached him twice when he wasn’t up for a chat on live TV. Nobody is ever obliged to talk to me on the grid, or
