"Uh-huh!" Marlene nodded excitedly, the corners of her mouth inching wider. "Denzel and I made one for Cloud too!" She beamed, holding up a second drawing of their little makeshift family. "We're gonna give it to him when he comes home!"

"That's the third time this month... Tifa's not gonna be happy that you lost it again."

At Tifa's words, Marlene's already bright expression brightened even more. "Yeah!" She exclaimed, bouncing excitedly up and down, a testament to her youthful energy.

"Tifa! Tifa!" Laughing, Marlene wrapped her arms around her adoptive mother's waist, hugging her tightly.

"Tifa, when's Daddy coming home?"

"Daddy!" Perking up immediately, the young girl threw her arms around her father as he picked her up in an affectionate hug. A delighted giggle danced past her lips as she flashed him a bright smile. "Yep! Denzel and I have been helping Tifa with the bar."
