Today we celebrated an astonishing 49 years service & retirement with #TeamLAS paramedic Steve. Joining in 1975, he’s worked in a number of roles including as a driving instructor and clinical tutor. Dabs (Group Manager) and I presented his long service bell and certificate.

We were called at 1.38pm today to a fire in #Northolt. We sent multiple resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, London Ambulance Service HART and London's Air Ambulance Charity. We treated four patients and took them all to hospital.

Sadly, some staff are reporting an increase in racial abuse and hostility from a small minority of our patients. We're taking action to help make sure they are safe in the line of duty 🔽 1/2
