Decided to take the plunge, going back to Nijmegen this year! Hopefully get my No.7 pin.

This weekend saw me start my Nijmegen training off with by supporting Cadet Road Marching. Pleased to say my feet & legs held up to the 20miles completed. Even made a new friend on route walking in opposite direction training for his 23rd Nijmegen. 😳

My first visit to 82 (Wandsworth) Squadron tonight as Sector Commander. Great speaking to the Sgt D Ross , staff team and cadets. Some big plans for the future, watch this space. Yes that is a Microbit drone that they have built, how cool is that!

This weekend I was joined by 6 other London Air Cadets staff to complete our Shotgun Skills & Safety Officers Courses. Lots of fun… looking forward to putting our new skills into practice.

Seems I brought the weather with me today! Supervising a The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award group on the London Air Cadets Expeditions this weekend and managed to get some miles in to prep for Nijmegen in 2 months. 😳 Now to repeat tomorrow!

The last 6 mnths has been a learning experience, leading London Air Cadets L81 Trg & LFMT resulting in 5 teams representing the wing at #ISCRM. Lot of hard work by staff & cdts alike to be recognised! Even entered the staff comp, great to be able to shoot even if I didn’t win. 😉

Delivering another IOSH course for internal staff at work, pleased to see the course full and already having some engaging safety related conversations.

Tonight's visit took me to 34F Squadron, Air Training Corps. Lots of cadets, CFAV, and activities.... albeit priority being WFD this weekend. My penultimate squadron visit of this cycle... only 46F Squadron to go.
