My #Cancer means that I’m don’t get out much, which saves money on the car. It’s brill when family and friends pop by to say hi, have a cuppa and support me by keeping me social. If you know someone with cancer, reach out, pop by and support them with a visit

Dave Thompson (@d_n_t) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Having #cancer sucks, it’s stressful, draining and painful. It’s just as stressful for partners of those with cancer. Caring for someone with cancer goes on 24x7. If you reach out to someone with cancer, and please do, don’t forget their partner, we can all use a little love

With my #Cancer I've lost weight. Yay, I'm all svelt 'n trim! However, my surgical stockings ('Fetishwear' as I prefer to call them thank you) no longer fit. They now routinely puddle around my ankles in a way that would make Nora Batty proud! #MoodKiller

We are very pleased to announce that we have a resident #bat in the roof. Not sure of the species yet. We listen to it on our bat detector and watch it flit back and forwards outside our living room window in the gloaming. We have named the bat Berko

Dave Thompson (@d_n_t) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Our Bercow the #bat it parading back and forth across our living room window as #dusk settles. If Bercow passes training then the role of #GuardBat is assured

Dave Thompson (@d_n_t) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Yay! #Bercow the #bats is energetically flitting back and forth past our living room window. Go Bercow! Graduation into the ranks of guard bat will be yours if you keep this up!

Margaret, from across the road (made me a cosy comfort blanket) made me a plate of jam tarts. Delicious. She is one of the heroes who is helping me overcome #cancer through the medium of baking!

Is not the proof of successful #digitalpreservation that preserved #data can be used at some point in the future? This is a fascinating project and wonderfully demonstrates how objects can exist in multiple worlds in multiple contexts wired.co.uk/article/notre-…
