It means that overall, UKRI - which is taxpayer funded - & govt have spent more than *£61,460* as result of Donelan’s libel.

(I should add the VAT is recoverable on the govt's legal fees so the total figure picked up by the taxpayer will actually end up being just over £57k)

Sadly, these are the type of people often promoted in *some* UK universities. The type of people who won't rock the boat and won't speak out against senior management. It would be too dangerous to have people who hold radical traits like compassion.
