Welcome to the delightful world of Claude Debussy’s “Passpied”! This charming piece is the final movement of his “Suite Bergamasque.” “Passpied” is inspired by a lively Breton dance of the same name. Imagine a festive gathering where dancers twirl and leap with joyful energy.

I'm excited to share my interview with composer Paul Mealor next week. We discussed the Coronation Kyrie, originally composed for the coronation of King Charles III, as well as the piano version that I recorded. JAM

During my conversation with royal composer Paul Mealor we discussed the complexities of transcribing the Coronation Kyrie for solo piano. Mealor highlighted the challenges and creative processes involved in adapting the piece from its original choral arrangement to a solo piano.
