Dems keep losing because they let people who think like this run their campaigns. Hillary did this in 2016 and Harris did this now. Obama and Biden won their races because they ran to the left of the American overton window (which is still center) and gave people some to vote for

I respect Olay a lot and it's sad to see her interpreting this so backwards. That 44% are the conservatives that would not have voted for her either way, yet the Dems keep courting them and ignoring the 9% "not progresive enough" group that could sway the election

This was something Republicans and independents would say about Bernie and it's one reason he could have won the general if the Dems nominated him. The reverse is one of the main reasons Harris lost. She ran away from her previous stances and that looked weak to independents

Oh, liberals. If you think Congress at all represents the interests of voters, you have not been paying attention for the last 40 years. No legislation gets passed without financial backing. "Bipartisan support" has become a red flag. It just means both sides were bought
