Want to know how wet the golf course is? We started digging down to install a new drain in the bunker on the 8th hole and water just started pushing up out of the ground to get away. Just shows that a foot below the sand the water table is so high and wants to get away

Finished turfing 18th Tee, bunker work continued managed 15 bunkers yesterday and another 7 today.

a small insight into why we are closed, we do not enjoy closing the course one bit that much i can assure you all ! but we hold out hands up when we are beat into submission by mother nature😞 very tough times for a lot of greenstaff up and down the country at the minute!
