EWC Girls Wrestling launches on Monday at 3:45 in the Covenant School wrestling room (newly renovated!). Come out to be part of central Virginia's first dedicated girls' wrestling program! All participants must have a current USA Wrestling athlete membership.

Eagle wresting did well today in the LCA Invitational today with John Gayle placing 5th and Matthew Knowles placing 6th overall ! Way to go gentlemen!

Matthew Knowles celebrated his Senior Night this past weekend by going 3-0, defeating the #3 wrestler at his weight class.   Each senior is given a word and a verse to commemorate their time at Covenant. Matthew's word was Resilient and his verse was 1 Corinthians 9:25

Our Covenant wrestlers made the final VISAA Rankings before conference championships: #3 Matthew Knowles 113 lb. #3 John Gayle 132 lb. #7 Luke Knowles 138 lb. #6 Lukas Sanker 160 lb.

John won his first round match at National Preps with a dominant 8-1 decision

Congrats to Covenant alumnus Rick Weaver for winning the 285 lb. NCWA National Championship for the Liberty Flames! Rick scored a 2nd period fall in the finals!

A big congrats to John Gayle and Matthew Knowles who were recognized on the first team for all-central wrestling!
