I can’t tell you much about “breakthrough,” but I can tell you about the long, gradual change that comes from years and years of perseverance.

As excited as I am for my friend, Todd Unzicker, I’m even more excited for the kingdom cuz of the movement this can become under his leadership!

I've typed and deleted ~20 different things trying to properly honor Todd Unzicker. I can't come up with the right words to explain what a faithful worker, friend, & mentor he's been to me. I wish #SBC21 knew a fraction of how hard he works to see the Great Commission flourish.

The sermon prep process is wild. You go from the pits to the skies to "okay I think this will work" to "what am I doing with my life?" to "look at God!" to "huh???" to "I'm sorry, church family" to simple trust and walking into that pulpit with a limp. As it should be, I spose.
