TEQSA clearly taking aim Monash University here. This is what Monash Casuals Network and Casualised, Unemployed & Precarious Uni Workers AU have been pushing for over the past few years. Finally we are getting somewhere on the wage-theft crisis at the uni. Lots more work to do.

It's July 2022, this has been in the news now for over 3 years, and nothing has changed. What a joke. Russell Goulbourne what are you doing to protect precarious staff from wage theft? You gave us a promise that it would not be tolerated.

This is absolutely laughable. There are nearly 8000 people employed at Monash and more than half of them are in insecure employment (casuals or fixed-term staff). Transitioning casual teachers to 5-month fixed term (semester) positions is not a solution. Shame on Monash University
