Suicidal thoughts aren’t always I want to die. They’re also.. I feel trapped. I need a way out. I am a burden. What’s the point in life? I need to escape my thoughts. Nothing will ever get better. I see no future. I can’t bare this pain anymore. Am worthless. #SuicideAwareness

When someone dies by suicide, people ask: Why didn’t they talk to someone? What were they thinking? How could they do that? But when someone tries to open up, the world often says: You’re overreacting. You’ll be fine. You’re too sensitive. That’s life get on with it. Silencing

someone who has been mentally and emotionally abused will: -constantly apologize -need a lot of reassurance -break down over small disagreements -hide their feelings in order to not upset you -have low self esteem because of insults please take it easy on them.

You can't just "get over trauma." It literally changes the way your brain functions. It causes you to not trust people and feel like you're constantly at threat. Trauma can change you into an entirely different person. It's not something you can just get over.

Only about 30% of autistic adults have a job, with around 15% in full-time employment Why is it so low? 1. Many companies are unwilling to hire autistic folk 2. Workplace bullying 3. Unsuitable environments 4. Lack of accommodation/support 5. Some cannot work at all

The autistic experience of being blamed for a misunderstanding when you communicated clearly and directly while the other person communicated vaguely and indirectly.

Suicidal people deserve better than to be told the main reason they shouldn’t kill themselves is because of how it might affect others. Suicidal people deserve love and help, not guilt trips. Suicidal people deserve to feel like their life is worth living, worth fighting for.
