Quiet WEBS at Longlands, still 7 tufted ducks but the little grebes have gone. There were 3 cormorants and some juvenile black headed gulls flying around cumbriabirds
Didn't expect to see a Whooper Swan on the estuary with Mute Swan flock at Canal Foot, Ulverston. Presuming a known and long-staying injured bird? Very approachable and appears to have damage to left wing #CumbriaBirds

Enjoyable high tide walk around CumbriaWildlifeTrust South Walney - Great Northern and 3 Red-throated Diver on sea, plus 14 Common Scoter. Also 170 Pale-bellied Brent Geese, 8 Greenshank, 5 Goldneye, 15 Shoveler, and large roosts of Redshank, Knot and Oystercatcher #CumbriaBirds
