i couldn't give less of a shit about "the dominance of my nation's military forces." it's a completely unhealthy attitude to measure your country by the degree to which it can use violence to exert power over others.

Look, I know we are far, far past the point where anyone is even pretending this is the case, but if you want a world where rules and laws and society as a whole matter in any kind of meaningful way, someone needs to be charged with crimes against humanity for this.
