Ich hab die #Ö1 Sendung über #MECFS von Constanze Ertl heute Freund:innen vorgespielt, die wirklich keine Ahnung hatten von den Dimensionen dieser Krankheit. Danach haben alle gesagt: bitte, ich möchte irgendwie helfen! Und kommen jetzt am 12.Mai 14-16h zur Demo am Heldenplatz.

Auch bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist #MECFS #PAIS #LongCovid ganz klar ein Thema.

Du bist eine der ganz wenigen, echten, #MECFS Allies der ersten Stunde, Barbara. Jemand der auch tut wenn etwas ansteht. Wenn ich von „echte Solidarität passiert nur on the margins“ spreche, spreche ich immer von dir. Ich hoffe ich kann mich iwann Mal live bedanken!

Sehr hörenswertes Ö1 Journale Panorama von Constanze Ertl über eine sehr stille Krankheit, die noch immer nicht ernst genommen wird.

In a few years Austria will have, despite the many obstacles remaining, the best clinical infrastructure for #MECFS patients on the planet (not that difficult, I know..). A key driver for this development is @ertlconstanze and her in-depth, empathetic journalism.

The Ärztekammer für Wien, the major medical association in Vienna, will donate the entire proceeds from the „Vienna Doctors' Ball 2025“ to WE&ME Foundation. The funds will thus be used for bio-medical #MECFS research in its entirety. Thank you to everyone involved. This sends a strong message!
