British Gas: “Hey, can I copy your homework?” Southeastern: “Yeah, just change it up a bit so it’s not obvious you copied it!” 😂

After 3 years dispatching, it’s time to hang up my bat. Today is my final shift. From 3rd July, I start training with SWR for my dream job as a guard. It’s been a long journey, but it’s finally here. Thank you to everyone who’s helped on the way. All change please! #twitterguard

And that was that. Thanks for the memories, Southeastern, it’s been a blast. 17/05/21-24/06/23. From Bromley platforms, Orpington platforms & Stock Coordinator, to Sevenoaks platforms, I’ve made some memories I’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone I’ve met on the way! 🥰

Calling any Guards/Conductors out there! Today is my last day of traction, which means next week I begin my route learning. Does anyone have any helpful tips and tricks for effective route learning? #twitterguard

sadly, my bunny of 12 years crossed rainbow bridge tonight. dijon was with me since i was just 9 years old and he’s been through so many monumental parts of my life with me, from finishing primary school to finally becoming a guard. rest in peace my boy. i love you forever.

Code black on the Southwestern. I’ve had my fair share of code blacks over the past few years, but this is my first as Traincrew. It’s just looking a tiny bit different here at Waterloo, compared to Christmas Eve!

That was a challenging shift. I’ve been very lucky, 3/6 of my trains were cancelled, and those which ran were mostly on time. By some miracle, I’m headed home now, but thoughts with all the crews who’ll keep working all night to get everyone home and things fixed for tomorrow ☺️

A conveniently timed PNB in London allowed for a quick trip on the second day of the 701 soft launch. As much as I’ve fallen in love with the 455s since moving over here, these are a much needed replacement for the region. Always great to see some familiar faces too! Train Dispatcher Sam

A rare occurrence today, taking a 4-car down the New Line earlier today. I love working single units and there seem to be quite a few running around at the moment! 5906 is seen below at Cobham, as we arrived 3 early (no active DKS etc). #twitterguard

Finally seizing the opportunity to tick off the Abbey and Marston Vale Lines today, having put them off for a while. Also on a 350 for the first time since joining SWR. It’s so weird seeing my core traction in green, and running under the wires! They’re the same, yet so different

Playing around on my old turf today… Sort of. It’s the Southeastern Redhill Diverts this weekend so I’m off to Tonbridge and back, non-stop via East Croydon, with none other than Conductor Collins (Nat) as the Conductor on my service!
