Tragic. The ISP lost TWO troopers this week. Trooper Brooke Jones-Story was also killed when she was hit by a semi trailer while she was on a traffic stop. We are with you ISP.

We have a very strict “no snakes on our planes” policy. According to the internet, only 5% of the population can smile and hold a snake on a stick at the same time. Trooper Schutte is one of those people. (No snakes were harmed in the production of this tweet.)

Unreal. We caught a driver speeding 131 mph on I-70 near Limon. The drivers reason? “Trying to get back to college”. Can’t make that up. Instead, driver was taken into custody. We saved a life today.

Our quarterly safety stand down training day! Every quarter, we ground our fleet and conduct safety training. This quarter? Density altitude and thunderstorm development. Our safety officer, Phil Curry, knows his stuff!
