Chris Brück from Leibniz Uni Hannover now focuses on the intersection of green and digital transformation (twin transition) in China and especially the role of policies on green/digital innovation. Interesting insights that we have not yet seen in research of western transformations

Sebastian Losacker from Leibniz Uni Hannover now follows suit in the transformation-track with his new project on socio-technical processes of transformation in the construction industry with a strong focus on the role of the bio-economy,e.g., for new materials. Five year plan for the project!

When writing about the #bioeconomy, we observe that many scholars in transition studies refer to biomass substitutes and low-tech goods. Such a view, however, significantly underestimates the disruptive potential of many advanced bioeconomy innovations. We want this to change.👇

Happy to share that my first paper is now published. In the paper, I examine how foreign MNEs develop green, digital (especially AI) and twin (green and digital) innovations in China and how they are involved in state-led innovation processes. doi.org/10.1108/CR-08-…

📝We have a new preprint online with Ingo Liefner, Chris Brück and Zeng Gang, exploring whether and how China's unique approach to innovation policy can inform the debate on mission-oriented innovation policies in the West. Happy to receive feedback! papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cf…
