This week, our new Director, Carlos Cid (carlos cid), joined us at Simula UiB! We are so excited to finally welcome him properly to Bergen and look forward to what the future will bring.

Over the last few years Si Gao and I developed a novel way of extracting leakage models from real devices. The cool thing is that whilst we can now accurately capture micro-architectural effects we do without giving a "helping hand" to worst case adversaries.

It's actually the IACR board in this instance you need to talk to, as the submission format was made uniform around 2014, if you recall. They'll have to modify the Program Chair Guidelines
