I hope we can all be extra gracious and show kindness and love to parents of young kids under 5 who don't have the option to get their kids vaccinated in the omicron surge. Sending peace and strength. I see you all. I haven't forgotten how hard it is to have unvax kiddos at home

If you don’t support measures to reduce community #COVID19 spread, to vaccinate kids and teachers, to invest $ in ventilation and filtration upgrades, and to provide high-quality masks to all and require them indoors, you don’t actually support in-person school in January 2022.

This morning, my school combined 7 first period classes. What did they learn in class today? I learned that they’ll do anything to open the school building, but nothing more than that.

1/4 of my 3rd graders are here in school, 1/2 of my 4th graders, and 1/2 of my 5th graders. If you don’t understand why that complicates everything when it comes to instruction, please don’t comment.

Exactly this. And those of us who are in schools are being not being heard when we try to point out that schools being open is not the same thing as returning to pre-pandemic teaching and learning. Far from it!

“We cannot cherry-pick the guidelines,” said Council Rock board member Yota Palli. Yet here we are flabbergasted after another frustrating board meeting with directors making up HASP directives on the fly without any data. Council Rock isn’t keeping kids safe or in school!

Guest opinion writer says the Central Bucks school board candidates elected on a platform of keeping schools open and preventing learning loss broke both promises in the first two weeks of January. bit.ly/3FqI759

Tonight, Central Bucks SD will vote on new rules that would allow censorship in school libraries. Central Bucks is the third-largest school district in Pennsylvania; this policy has huge implications for thousands of students. A 🧵 1/

💡Nota Bene—DO NOT USE BATHROOM HAND DRYERS. Research shows these dryers suck in and blow fecal aerosols. Shake your hands dry instead. Watch 🎥 x.com/_blkhoney/stat…

I’ve forgotten all the swindles and schemes Dr. Oz has been in over the years. This great political ad sums them up. A great creative touch here.
