Any such "debate" would be beyond tone-deaf. For over a year we have been forced to watch an unfolding genocide. "Debating" who is most to blame for that is ridiculous and offensive.

It seems that the US election has shown more GCs the degrees to which their movement is aligned with the right and far-right. This appears to be a shock. The response is to separate ‘original’ or ‘real’ GCs from the right wing. This really doesn’t work.

Again - are these really the tough decisions if every government in my lifetime has said the same crap to justify underfunding the health service while giving insane tax breaks to the super rich.

Also: why doesn't anyone who talks about their "tough decisions" ever show an ounce of sympathy for the people they're leaving to suffer? They're always either smirking at their own cleverness, or fuming that anyone would dare ask them to justify the pain they're inflicting.
