Sechler Pk is winter fat bike heaven. The south section of Caron has been snowshoed (tx Amunruds!) & now needs fat bikers

Sechler & Caron trails are still open, probably thru mid-Saturday. Sechler is mostly frozen dirt; Caron is 90% snow

Both Sechler and Caron trails are now very soft and muddy and therefore closed till further notice.

The Caron & Sechler Pk trails are open. Frozen dirt rules for the next several days. Watch out for the blowdown. Clear it if you can!

Sechler park usually handles water pretty well, but after two solid days of rain, I'd say NOPE to the trails (Caron Park too) being open.

Conditions on Heath Creek and Sechler are a go! Watch for the odd slippery spot, but we're open for business. Should get better this week!

Trail conditions in Northfield are as good as they get! Caron Park was just blown, and Sechler/Heath are wonderful.

Conditions recently are stellar. Good and frozen, Velcro dirt!

The bad. Frozen, 4" wide, deep foot prints. Makes the trail rough, unstable, creates huge potential for breaking bones, falling or causing miss direction on bike. Please let us do our work to create a safe user experience for everyone in the woods! We DO want everyone out there.

The good. The goal to grooming. To create a path that everyone can safely use, whether on foot, snow shoe, ski or fat bike. Heath Creek is gorgeous right now. Sechler is mostly ok. Watch the foot prints though.

Goodness me. Conditions are about as good as they get in the winter folks. Get some! But before Wednesday hits. If it's over freezing, please stay off the trails!

The stomp train was out this morning! Warm day time temps this week means riding should be done at night! Keep the trails in prime condition for a little longer!
