That just flew up! Interlacing turf with thin branches apparently helped the Romans cast up their ramparts very quickly. Gave it a first trim to tidy up the sides, and back tomorrow for finishing touches. Thanks for a great day Edinburgh ArchSoc, @HGendersBoyd and Comrie Croft
