Currently investigating an officer involved shooting near Sahara and Town Center. No officers were injured. Please avoid the area as the investigation is ongoing.

The Citizen Review Board convened another screening panel today. Board members are randomly selected to serve six months terms on screening panels. Eligible complaints are carefully screened and sent to a hearing panel for further investigation if a majority of members agree.

Civilian Review Board Members attend an in-depth discussion of jail procedures at the Clark County Detention Center. As the jail is staffed by LVMPD, inmate complaints fall under the Board's review for investigation and potential hearings.
