SICK of people saying they want the old UK back. We ALL do. WE want same day GP appointments, ambulances within mins, dentists, a decent police force, good education, affordable food, clean water ways, BUT it’s not migrants who caused this. It was 14 YEARS of Tory austerity! It’s

ADHD is being a perfectionist without the capability of motivating yourself to achieve said perfection. So you are constantly in this state of paralyzing anxiety and self-doubt, all the while feeling worse about it every passing minute.

Truth bombs about being disabled and claiming benefits in the UK πŸ’₯ πŸ’£ Many disabled people DO work. You don’t need to be out of work to claim PIP - which is to help with the additional monthly cost of being disabled. πŸ’£ Disabled people who can't work DO contribute to

ADHD is not a lack of focus; it’s a dopamine deficiency that makes my brain a scavenger. I can’t find the energy to brush my teeth for two minutes, but I can spend six hours researching the exact structural engineering of 14th-century bridges because it’s "shiny." My brain

ADHD paralysis is like standing at a 10-way intersection where every single light is green and everyone is honking at you to GO, but you have no idea which direction leads home. So you just park the car in the middle of the road and sit there. You aren't "relaxing" on the sofa;

unpopular opinion: losing a pet can hurt just as much as losing a person. they loved you without conditions, stayed when everyone else left, and made your worst days survivable. that kind of loss doesn’t disappear just because they had four legs

Emotional dysregulation is like having a volume knob for your feelings that only has two settings: "Off" and "Explosion." A minor critique from a boss doesn't just feel like feedback it feels like a physical punch to the chest. I’m not being "dramatic." My brain literally lacks

I feel so empty. I have so much in my life but feel like I have nothing left inside me, all I have to give is a mask to hide my hollowness from the world. I feel like every page of a book ready to publish was ripped away and now I have to start writing from the beginning again.

Yes I do seem OK, I seem like I'm better off, I get up & handle my responsibilities, I laugh, I joke & make plans, I say I'm fine & that I don't care. I also shut down for the whole weekend cause it was the only time I had to feel. Tomorrow I'll get up and the cycle starts again

The hardest thing about being neurodivergent isn’t the symptoms. It’s spending your whole life being told the symptoms are your personality flaws.

One of the reasons people don't recognize ADHD as a disability is that they see ADHD struggles (with things like organisation, tidyness, timeliness, communication etc) as personal failings. That is ableism.

There are so many words I want to say, how hurt I am, how angry I am, how I don't understand, but most of all I just wish I could say I miss you. What's worse is I could, I could reach out again to get nothing back which is exactly why I know I can't.

And no one ever talks about how hard it is to be grateful and sad at the same time. You’re going through something but still aware of how blessed you are. That constant shift in perspective is exhausting in itself.

The most destructive piece of internet lore ever created is the phrase: "If they wanted to, they would." It sounds empowering, but it is actually deeply narcissistic. It assumes that a person’s actions are dictated 100% by their desire for you, while completely ignoring their

I think the purest form of love is just wanting someone to notice life with you. "taste this. look at that. hear this song." again and again. until you can't imagine noticing life without them.
