My friends and I have been wondering how Bungie is doing matchmaking in Marathon. Level? Gear? We have a few theories. But let me be very clear: Bungie should never, ever tell us how matchmaking works in Marathon. NEVER EVER. DO NOT TELL PEOPLE

This is sad. I know as a politician these companies are going to spend a billion dollars against me for saying it but 🤷🏽‍♀️ Pervasive gambling is not good for society. It turns life into a casino, traps people in addiction & debt, surges domestic violence, and fosters manipulation.

Arc was first to market. That's pretty much it. Timing is important because demand is like a bubble that anyone can pop, then it reinflates. Arc tapped the extraction market and Marathon hit before people were done with Arc. Bad luck and that's how it goes sometimes

My dislexyc ass always thinks people are talking about super smash brothers melee hen they're talking about skill based matchmaking and this one threw me for a loop

I like Strive 2.0. I do. But I gotta say, the c.S changes gotta go. If they must standardize them, I'd rather some characters have weirdly effective c.S compared to their animation than most characters have attacks that phase through airborne enemies for no apparent reason
