Two very cool insects found on last week’s Ewan Miles Mull tour, giant horntail and sabre wasp. Neither of them sting and the sabre wasp uses its ovipositor to lay its eggs in the larvae of the horntail in pine trees.

So. I am moving teaching job. I worked in the last place for 24 years to my own surprise. Still teaching in the new place, but on to new things...

Update: have been enjoying teaching in the new place. Less travel, new experiences, whole new (but somehow familiar feel of) maths department.
