i think you're missing the point of this scene! its meant to display how blitz personally sees him as an antagonistic/threatening figure at this time in the story!! stolas never had this side to him in the first place, it was all blitz's imagination and preconception of stolas

notice how this scene was entirely from blitz’s perspective. it was his hallucination, his insecurities, how HE viewed stolas. the writers didn’t “remove” stolas’ antagonistic side because he didn’t have this antagonistic side. this is all from blitz’s warped perception of stolas
