AI Images in Touhou 19: 1/2

The reception I'm getting from this decision is one of the many reasons why I'm deeply grateful ToWLG even had an audience, let alone a following that's also supportive in the first place.

I don't think people talked enough about Touhou 19/UDoALG's suspicious background elements and whether they're AI or not, and what it would mean if they are (fraudulent nondisclosure).

TouhouPower67 Sheepdoge It seems like a huge mess of ZUN's orbiters taking advantage of him, ZUN himself taking advantage of his fanbase, and everything that Touhou embodied in the past being sold out for parts to other games or companies for profits, with all of the new stuff being bitter whining.

This is factually incorrect. While it was indeed his decision to allow strong creative freedom for fan works, it is those very creations that allowed Touhou to become as it is today. You are still free to glaze an artist who ran out of ideas and became a slop factory, though.

I would be satisfied if ZUN announced that he's calling it quit and moved on to his idea of opening an izakaya as he mentioned a few times already. He ran out of ideas and this shows greatly in his inability to write and also make good music and character designs anymore.

Alright, I guess it's time to explain what I meant here.

Back in muh days, we had things like Knifed, Pads, CHEEEEEEEN!!!, Reisen is a useless rabbit only good for her sex appeal and the likes. ... Huh, looking back, It sure got annoying at times, but comparing to where we are now, it sure feels quaint and innocuous by comparison.

In hindsight, I think the actual worst part of the Touhou fanbase when it comes to the state of the series are those that glaze the series and its creator more than a donut shop. They often have no standards, self-respect and they often rely on mischaracterization and lies.

Whoops. To clarify, what I meant wasn't purely tied to what I feel is the worst part of the fanbase, but what I feel IS the worst part related to Touhou Project as a whole.

I've had several people who would come to debate with me run off and start making up disgusting lies about what I say afterward lately, so I guess I'll have to be even more careful from now on who I try to discuss with, which is such a shame. Is misrepresenting really their best?

As a fan of Touhou fan works that appreciates and respects the efforts put into them and that worked on his own project for over 10 years while trying to respect ZUN's stories and concepts, I can say for certain people like this guy have no room to say what is and isn't passion.

I was scrolling back to try to find an old post and I felt a bit nostalgic when seeing this one. Not just because I like HSoB, but because good old Ranran reminded me of how these fan Touhou shmups with OCs reignited my enjoyment of being introduced to new fun characters.
