KRPF traffic wants to remind drivers that a yellow light does NOT mean accelerate through the intersection before the light turns red. The driver shall not enter the intersection unless they are so close that it is impossible to stop before entering.

Within a half an hour KRPF investigated 2 collisions where the traffic lights were disregarded. Violations of $172.50 were issued to drivers at both collisions. Collisions are avoidable and preventable. Fortunately in these collisions there were no serious injuries.

Thanks to a concerned citizen calling in about an erratic driver a male was arrested for impaired driving this afternoon by the KRPF. This is the second impaired driver today that has been arrested. The other was involved in a single vehicle collision.

At approx 740 am KRPF responded to a single vehicle collision on Millennium Drive by Campbell Drive. The 21 year old driver was arrested for impaired driving. The driver blew nearly 2 times the legal limit.

As the result of a complaint from a concerned citizen an impaired driver was taken off the road this evening. The driver blew more than 3 times the legal limit! If you suspect that a person may be impaired please call 911...you can remain anonymous.

Another driver was arrested tonight for impaired driving. The driver was checked at a police check point and failed the roadside screening device. The driver was arrested for impaired driving and blew over the legal limit on the breathalyzer.

KRPF traffic unit stopped a vehicle on Campbell Drive. The driver was arrested for impaired driving after failing the roadside screening device. He was 1 1/2 times over the legal limit. If you drink and drive in the valley you will get caught!

There is construction happening on Hampton Road between Marr Road and Robinson Street. Hampton Road is down to one lane. Please be patient if you must drive in this area as traffic is backing up during peak times.

KRPF advising there is a structure fire on Rosedsle Ave. .. There are hoses across Hampton Road at Dobson street. Please use an alternate route

KRPF traffic section is requesting the motoring public avoid Grove Avenue as there is a structure fire in that area and the road is partially blocked. Please find an alternative route to allow fire to conduct their operations without hinderance

Grove avenue is closed to traffic from Campbell all the way to Bridal Path due to the structure fire. You cannot access Grove Ave from Highland. Please find an alternative route to your destination.
