Today feels like a Monday, so #NewMusicMonday is back again for this week and Laura’s up first with her choice of podcast favourite Ashley McBryde and her latest release “The Devil I Know”. We are getting ever more excited for the upcoming album!!

Laura’s second choice today is an artist we saw over here last year and fell in love with her ability to sing so openly and vulnerably. This new single “Self Love” is another brilliant example of that from Avery Anna #NewMusicMonday (on the Monday-est of Tuesdays)

To have such a legendary artist of the Country scene continue to release excellent music is a privilege. Tanya Tucker is back with a beautiful new single “Kindness” from her upcoming album “Sweet Western Sound” that’s arriving in June. #NewMusicMonday (or Tuesday, we’re flexible)

Beth’s choices now and we’re starting off with the barn stormer that is “Barn Burner” by Ian Munsick. We’ve both had the new album on repeat and this is heartbreak song in a fun style is fab and a firm favourite 🪵🔥 added bonus: excellent fiddle! #NewMusicMonday (in our minds…)

Beth’s next selection is from UK artist James Dunne and his beautiful new acoustic track “Black Train”. It’s full of old soul and brilliant storytelling and we’re excited to see what’s in store for the upcoming EP! #NewMusicMonday (trust us, still feels like Monday)

Our last #NewMusicMonday (ok, we’ll admit it’s Tuesday now) is the return of Brothers Osborne who’ve teamed back up with our podcast pal @KendellMarvell to pen “Nobody’s Nobody”, a beautiful ode to acceptance and understanding of each other, without swaying into trivialising it.

Beth’s turn for #NewMusicMonday and first up, it’s Drew Parker with a new love song, “King of Country Music” which is perfectly light and playful.

And finally for #NewMusicMonday Beth's chosen "Different Definitions" by FAREN RACHELS which is a great, slightly pop-leaning track with a fun groove running through it.

Some great new names added to the The Long Road line up. The excitement levels just keep increasing!
