First Alert Weather Days issued Saturday & Sunday. 🚨⛈️ Models are really coming together to deliver some gaudy rainfall totals, mainly Saturday through Monday, thanks to the tropics. If these rainfall totals verify, we could be dealing with a major region-wide flooding threat.

Some rain here on the northwest side Thursday evening, as the region gears up for the main event tomorrow through Monday. The biggest flood risk looks to be on Saturday & Sunday as multiple inches of rain is likely to fall region-wide. #flood #flashflood #arizona #storms

Models have calmed down from their Noah's Arc-level prediction, but are still forecasting widespread amounts of multiple inches of rain. More than enough to cause flooding concerns. In Southern AZ, the biggest flood threat will be during the weekend, as activity begins to ramp up

Here's what's causing the delay for the U of A football game. 🏈⛈️ It's a quick-hitting cell that should be in and out in about 30 minutes. However, chances for rain & storms will remain throughout the evening. #collegefootball #raindelay #tucson #storm

Still A LOT more rainfall to come over the next two days! Tucson stole the show today, but the High Valleys (Douglas, Sierra Vista, Nogales) should see a much busier day & higher flood risk tomorrow. Many spots will see an additional inch or more of rainfall through Monday.
