in memory of Steve Albini, what’s your favorite album he produced? mine has to be Things We Lost in the Fire by Low, his production work on that album makes it so magical. RIP!!

The Breeders are mourning the sudden passing of Steve Albini. He built worlds. Britt, Tanya, Josephine, Kim, Kelley, Jim, Mando, Jose and  Richard.

Steve shared a great story for Ways of Hearing about chasing a stray electrical noise in his studio by attaching a guitar pickup to a fishing pole and walking around the neighborhood... I feel like he had a permanent bullshit detector, probably wired up the same way. Loss to all.
