From Monday 11 Jan, the seasonal flu vaccination programme is being extended to include all individuals who will be aged 50-64years by 31 March 2021. People who are eligible, will be able to access the free seasonal flu vaccine at participating community pharmacies across NI.

Speaking to BBC Evening Extra Gerard Greene, CPNI says pharmacists are looking at 2 routes to administer the vaccine; mass vaccination sites and on-premise vaccines within community pharmacies. Over 300 pharmacies have expressed a desire to be part of the vaccine programme.
