Developing in another language that isn't Java has been a good change of pace omg. Get access to so many cool things like SIMD and a bunch of libraries that wouldn't exist in Java. And generally just faster code overall. Also rust crates > gradle 100%

Vanilla world generator is about 38-40ms/chunk on my 9950x for its noise step. This.... *so far* is probably 38x faster than vanilla >:3 Still need caves, streams, and rivers though to really compare it, but for it to be this fast so far is amazing >:3
