A film and board game evening tonight, we are feeling tired.

Breakfast! Hash browns, bacon, poached egg, toast, as much cereal and fruit salad as you can eat. Lots of second and third helpings!

Unicorn Class are having a fantastic time at Fineshade Woods! This morning we have been learning all about Woodland creatures and their habitats and building the most amazing dens.

This afternoon we have found lots of creepy crawlies and have been learning all about how to track birds, badgers, deer and foxes. We have been lucky enough to hold some skulls and bones and even found some fresh badger poo! What a great day.

First activity Govilon - the children worked really hard to communicate with one another and be a team to manoeuvre their canoe around the canal.

A very wet and windy walk on Blorenge this evening.

Followed by some warming hot chocolate and biscuits. Ready for a good nights sleep before a big day of activities tomorrow!

A good nights sleep had by all and now fuelling up with a delicious cooked breakfast before another busy day. Due to heavy rain we are having to change activities. Today we will now go gorge walking and take visit to (and in) some waterfalls!

A day full of adventure. This morning we were exploring the pitch black in an old railway tunnel, working together to communicate and help one another. Then it was a very cold and wet afternoon crawling under and through waterfalls. Such bravery and resilience shown by all!

Our final evening in wet and windy Wales has been spent bowling - Miss Terry has maintained her title as Govilon bowling champion for another year, closely followed by Skye just 10 points behind.

We also had some time spare to get stuck into the arcade games - basketball, air hockey and motorbike racing to name a few. Ryley was very pleased with his efforts, winning a grand total of 500 tickets!!!

A superb morning spent at Raglan Castle with not a single drop of rain!

As we sit on the coach on the way back from our residential we are having some time to reflect upon our time in Govilon. The children have been fantastic and represented themselves and our school amazingly. They have shown courage, initiative and respect and we have had a blast!
