Zane Coppersmith, RHP from Stetson Baseball, had been added to Wareham Gatemen roster: gohatters.com/sports/basebal… Coppersmith was a huge piece of the Hatters bullpen this spring making 24 appearances, posting a record of 3-1; 1.82 ERA with 3 saves, 34 K, and 1.08 WHIP in 29.2 IP.

After missing all of last season due to elbow surgery, Jonathan Gonzalez is back and, apparently, better than ever. In 2023, the Stetson Baseball lefty logged a 4.12 ERA and a team-high 91 strikeouts in 72 innings before being named an Cape League all-star.
.Stetson Baseball will have big shoes to fill following the departure of Cole Stallings – who led the ASUN last season in saves (11) – but Zane Coppersmith seems up to the task. The righty went 3-1 with a 1.82 ERA, three saves and 34 strikeouts in 29 2/3 innings last year.
