12 years ago, the Blue Jays signed Vladimir Guerrero Sr. to a minor league contract.

He'd bat .359 with four HRs in 12 games between Class-A Dunedin and Triple-A Las Vegas.

He went 4-for-5 in his final game with Vegas before announcing he was leaving the team.

Kevin Glew Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum 🇨🇦⚾️ Alan Roth was a personal hero and role model when I started out handling statistics for the in 1973. Was fortunate to sit next to him in the broadcast booth to assist on the rare occasions when Jarry Park was chosen for Game of the Week. Roth was network statistician. ⚾️👍

Growing up Niki Boyd had Amanda Asay’s baseball card for inspiration. She wanted to play for 🇨🇦 just like her.

Years later Boyd took the field with her for the World Cup in 2012.

Now, she’s helping out with the Asay jamboree tomorrow in memory of her teammate & friend.

48 years ago, the Toronto Blue Jays hired Paul Beeston (Welland, Ont.) to be their vice-president of administration.

He became the first executive hired by the club.

P.S. I'd say that worked out very well.
