I support action against Violence Against Women.

Today begins the 16Days of Activism against violence against women. As we celebrate the gradual, global victory over violence acts against, I think of the many violence acts I witnessed both at home and in my village community growing up many years ago.

I start job this week with Mercy Corps-Liberia. I am quite excited to be back into the NGO community. This is where I believe my skills are quite useful; "So Help Me God".

Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf continues to be the positive face of Liberia. Her new signature programme to empower African women is an initiative that requires from us all. Hats off madam!

Mr. George Weah used to be the positive face of Liberia during the civil war in the 1990s. But that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Politic is gradually corrupting that special place he occupied in the hearts of Liberia during the 1090s and early 2000s. This is so sad!

Get well Donald. Your testimony from the experience with the virus will hopefully go a long way in reawakening the fight against it.
