If we are really concerned about kids mental health, why are we assigning grades right now? Is it worth it in elementary? Feeling frustrated by this process. I would rather write a feedback and encouragement letter and let them know they are more than a mark. Now isn’t the time.

I don't know how you can stand in front of a podium, call the new COVID-19 variants "extremely contagious," yet still think it's okay to have kids in classes of 30, less than 2m apart.

Minister of Education Feb 3rd: "Be absolutely assured that the new safety protocols will be in place... they have been in place". CMOH Jan 29: "...the rapid testing may not be available by that date (Feb 10th)".

The Minister and the CMOH were asked 3 times today, and numerous times over the past few weeks, about what threshold, metrics, they were using to determine if schools could be opened and/or closed. Still waiting for the answer!
