Today Bon Appétit and epicurious staffers stepped out of a print pitch meeting for a coordinated Lunch Break in protest of proposed layoffs at Condé Nast. Instead of the pitch meeting, union members are having a protest lunch in the food brands’ Test Kitchen.

Condé Nast slashed its severance offer *IN HALF* for the 94 employees they want to lay off. They're upset bargaining over the layoffs isn't going fast enough, but they refuse to compromise on the numbers at all.
