One of the stars of our event last week, “Under the Sea”, was this delectable John Paul Jones rum 🌟. Aged in charred oak and steeped in Arbigland sourced seaweed, this liquor really brought the maritime flavours🚢! Check them out here 👉ow.ly/i28D50FxJ7g

We ❤️salt! But it definitely isn’t a miracle cure! Fat amplifies flavour and brings texture to a meal, acid adds the zing⚡, zap⚡ and pizzazz⚡, and heat will make or break whatever you are cooking. Heat changes whatever you are cooking on a molecular level!

Heading to Portugal to escape cold temperatures, go south to Comporta, the coastal area by the Alentejo region, and find Restaurante São João, a sweet spot where visitors and locals meet in a relaxed atmosphere for authentic Alentejana food. Try the Cataplana, you won’t regret!

It can get hard in the winter months, but when the sun makes an appearance we are all for pretending it is summer with Aperol Spritz! Put a couple of cubes of ice into 2 glasses and add a 50 ml of Aperol to each. Divide 150ml of prosecco between the glasses and top up with soda.
