this > companies are integrating agents into workflows > enterprise payment agents use cases: procurement, compute infra, supply chain, finance and treasury > trust is the key element: agentic payment systems that can verify large vol of autonomous txns every sec

Great piece - an interesting perspective to chew on: where will the money from all the SaaS layoffs go? The answer is likely going to be API spend by agents - on compute, skills, supply chains etc., where an AI agent with API auth will be able to output 10x a team of engineers

V3 OF THE AGENTIC FINANCE MARKET MAP There were way too many new services, wallets, and apps that I found over the weekend. If we keep growing I'm gonna have to make a map for each separate category. See below for new players ⬇️

Tempo Mainnet is live! Starting today, anyone can build on Tempo through our public RPC endpoints. Alongside mainnet, we’re introducing the Machine Payments Protocol, an open standard for machine payments.

What does Tempo mainnet and MPP mean? My takeaway is not that it’s another protocol to add to the plethora we have It’s that there’s now an opinionated, enterprise-focused payments chain that treats agents as first class citizens This is the chain for agentic payments

If you’re building on Tempo and looking for ways to give your agents more guardrails and controls around spending get in touch! We’ve had Tempo support since testnet and will continue to build with the chain in mind

Fine-grained spend policies, high spend approvals, vendor whitelists - we’ve got that Conto Taking agentic payments from the Wild West means controls and compliance Our new interactive demo lets you try it all out, running on Tempo testnet and Privy

Without controls, agentic payments is wild and unruly like the new frontier For projects to move from experiments to the enterprise, organizations need new infrastructure that can keep up with agentic speed and scale

Ken Wattana (@kenwattana) 's Twitter Profile Photo

New article on why agentic payments is in its Wild West era Fully permissioned agents armed with wallets are a risk vector that need to be considered To move from experiments to reality, we need more controls and guardrails on how agents spend and who they interact with

Trillions of agents, unprecedented speed and scale Existing financial systems weren’t built for this New solutions are needed
