At the heart of biblical correction is loving restoration — Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently” Gal. 6:1 There’s way to much treatment of correction as if it’s the last day judgement of God.

I affirm a regulative principle of worship (although I think serving in all the spiritual gifts should be a part) BUT a question — has a modern movement of “hyper-regulative” become part of certain church movements? Limiting instrumentation & even use of microphones and singers?

In true, biblical, continuationism the Spirit isnt revealing new things about God, salvation, etc. He is revealing the hidden things in the lives of people & applying his truth to them — 1 Cor 14:25 the secrets of his heart are disclosed, and so, falling on his face, he will

Parenting doesn’t stop with your kids. Don’t forget to parent your emotions through life too - teaching them what’s true, correcting them when they’re wayward, training them to respond appropriately, and not letting them run the house of your heart is a must.
