Last week, Chuck Grassley had his 70th anniversary (congrats, senator!). Another upcoming Grassley milestone: this November will mark 50 years since his first election to Congress. In pro-Dem 1974, his 51%-49% win made him the only Republican in Iowa's delegation at the time.
