Excellence happens when the result becomes an afterthought. When the goal becomes the training, the daily routine, and enjoying the process, the gold medal winning times and first place finishes happen on their own.

This was a great reminder from my newest read, thanks Box of Crayons! It's so easy to ask a question and unknowingly manipulate someone into the answer or course of action WE desire. Definitely going to keep an eye on this. #TheCoachingHabit

We were INCREDIBLY fortunate to have the legendary Jay Chambers come and share some of his knowledge with us on how to continue to raise our standards and be gritty in our passionate pursuit of our goals! Thank you Coach Jay and USA Swimming!

That’s easily got to be in my favorite memories as a coach! We all had so much fun that day!

We had a really cool opportunity to chat with Cody Miller during our Senior/High School Zoom Chat! He had awesome words about staying motivated & challenging us to do the hard work of pushing ourselves outside of our comfort zones! Thank you for your time and your insights Cody!
