I’ve said for years that situations like big games bring a lot more eyes… You, as a spectator and not on the sidelines, have to hope all the right people are doing the right things…

Listen I’m all for being careful with our youth… I won’t allow my kids to play tackle to HS, but that’s my choice… I think people should have choice after informed consent…

We still have a long way to go, but we must continue to push forward. Athletic Trainers are needed in schools around the country! But too often this is considered an afterthought.. if at all. That needs to change. #AT4ALL

If you're a PT student interested in sports medicine: Shadow an athletic trainer. You'll learn a ton. You'll build healthcare bridges in the community. You'll get to see the full spectrum of athlete rehab from acute injury to return to play. Highly recommend.

He’s not wrong… FTR, there is attenuation for subconcussive forces, mainly the stacking effect. But using them outside the interior line does very little in regard to what Reed is discussing.

For what it’s worth I wrote about this topic in 2013… And I have even more concern now, due to impact mitigation creating more risky behavior… theconcussionblog.com/2013/09/13/wha…
