The NFL first experimented with instant replay 45 years ago. NFLOfficiating director Art McNally used a stopwatch and video camera during a 1976 #MNF game between the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills.

NFL officials gathered in Dallas last weekend for their annual Kickoff meeting, reviewing key points of emphasis from the preseason.

During preseason, replay crews head to Art McNally Gameday Central in New York to continue preparing for the regular season.
